Nonna - Heirloom

Nonna (Heirloom), is inspired by the artist's maternal grandmother who immigrated from Italy and was hired as a seamstress by a coat manufacturing family she would later marry into. Originally begun as a creative way to use the huge collection of buttons left behind when both grandmother's passed, Nonna quickly became a labor of love and a way to honor her ancestors in jewelry worthy of being passed from generation to generation.

Sterling silver 36" necklace with antique lace san into each large circular link using silver and gold silk thread. Since the lace is antique, no two necklaces are exactly the same.

Sterling silver and antique appliqué lace with gold thread on a 16" double adjustable chain. Lace centerpiece measures approximately 2.5" wide. Each piece is unique but the size and shape of each is similar.
